It's gonna be a big scaffolding. There's quite a bit more to be done around the corner over there And yeah, we made good progress this week. Also the workshop is getting shape, things are getting in their place, but there's a lot of work to be done still this winter, on the cabinets, these are all kind of temporary... leftovers that I had. Made a quick workbench so I can actually make the doors of the workshop and also the the window that has to be done this summer. And then when the roof is finished in a few months I'll be focusing on everything inside the workshop But I can work now getting used to the machines, learning a bit.

It's the first time I'm using these now, the planer, Yeah, it takes a bit of time to get it right. Where to push, really, but I mean the quality of the the cuts are really good, how it comes out of the machine so I did the posts for the door frame, and then the door is going to be built from the old floorboards that were down here and then the door is going to be built from the old floorboards that were down here You might remember that the windows of the first cabin were also made of those floorboards. They have a beautiful old texture because they're like 100-year-old boards or so. So they've dried out so they have a lot of texture. Uh even when you plane them, and they have to be plained to be able to work with them. So it will be It will have a rustic look, but they need to be made flat so I can make them structurally strong and weatherproof. Some have a bit of rot as well, so I have to see how much of it I can use, but it looks good I think So yeah, all the rafters are stained.

Picked up new boards, like the the battens Forgot the names, the spacers for the insulation. So all the wood is now here. Except for the tongue and groove boards, they still have to come. So a little lot of staining to do and uh sawing. But yeah, so next week we'll continue with that. But this is good progress. It's always exciting to start this new phase being on the roof. Reminds me of the first one. Kinda looks the same. But this one's a lot bigger. And bigger stones as well, as it looks like.
