media company back in uh media company back in uh 1977 it was it was named blue fish tv 1977 it was it was named blue fish tv 1977 it was it was named blue fish tv and um they were doing some really and um they were doing some really and um they were doing some really interesting uh interesting uh interesting uh things for example filming uh christian things for example filming uh christian things for example filming uh christian mission work overseas and bringing that mission work overseas and bringing that mission work overseas and bringing that video content back video content back video content back to share with churches well then they to share with churches well then they to share with churches well then they started developing started developing started developing content that churches could also use for content that churches could also use for content that churches could also use for bible studies and training bible studies and training bible studies and training and of course you know in those days the and of course you know in those days the and of course you know in those days the content was on content was on content was on you know vhs tapes and and uh you know vhs tapes and and uh you know vhs tapes and and uh and dvds and so on but but uh they did and dvds and so on but but uh they did and dvds and so on but but uh they did really really really really well with it in terms of really well with it in terms of really well with it in terms of resourcing uh churches for many years resourcing uh churches for many years resourcing uh churches for many years and and and and then in 2011 so you know that would and then in 2011 so you know that would and then in 2011 so you know that would be about be about be about obviously 10 years ago that's when right obviously 10 years ago that's when right obviously 10 years ago that's when right now now now media was launched and and uh media was launched and and uh media was launched and and uh we now provide all of our video content we now provide all of our video content we now provide all of our video content uh uh uh digitally you know through our app digitally you know through our app digitally you know through our app of course using a really similar um of course using a really similar um of course using a really similar um content delivery model that other content delivery model that other content delivery model that other streaming services like netflix streaming services like netflix streaming services like netflix uh uses although of course our content uh uses although of course our content uh uses although of course our content is very different is very different is very different that analogy applies in that you you that analogy applies in that you you that analogy applies in that you you have an app and you're streaming content have an app and you're streaming content have an app and you're streaming content and we've been doing that the past uh 10 and we've been doing that the past uh 10 and we've been doing that the past uh 10 years years years gotcha so what are some examples of that gotcha so what are some examples of that gotcha so what are some examples of that kind of content that's found on right kind of content that's found on right kind of content that's found on right now media now media now media yeah you know absolutely so you know a yeah you know absolutely so you know a yeah you know absolutely so you know a couple of areas i would point to couple of areas i would point to couple of areas i would point to um first of all we have somewhere around um first of all we have somewhere around um first of all we have somewhere around 27 000 videos

27 000 videos 27 000 videos wow our library so there's uh it's a bit wow our library so there's uh it's a bit wow our library so there's uh it's a bit of a cliche but uh of a cliche but uh of a cliche but uh there's really something for everyone there's really something for everyone there's really something for everyone out there but i would say some of our out there but i would say some of our out there but i would say some of our more popular more popular more popular um video content we have books of the um video content we have books of the um video content we have books of the bible studies those are extremely bible studies those are extremely bible studies those are extremely popular popular popular uh some people go through those most uh some people go through those most uh some people go through those most people go through those in small groups people go through those in small groups people go through those in small groups but also but also but also you know you can do that individually we you know you can do that individually we you know you can do that individually we also provide a lot of specific studies also provide a lot of specific studies also provide a lot of specific studies for men's and women's groups for men's and women's groups for men's and women's groups studies in areas very specific areas studies in areas very specific areas studies in areas very specific areas like like like marriage parenting are very popular marriage parenting are very popular marriage parenting are very popular uh you know a lot of people don't know uh you know a lot of people don't know uh you know a lot of people don't know this um this um this um that maybe just use our small group that maybe just use our small group that maybe just use our small group content but we have a lot of great content but we have a lot of great content but we have a lot of great um you know animated biblical content um you know animated biblical content um you know animated biblical content for kids you know that's really popular for kids you know that's really popular for kids you know that's really popular uh you know they're not studies they're uh you know they're not studies they're uh you know they're not studies they're they're biblical they're biblical they're biblical uh you know cartoons like super book uh you know cartoons like super book uh you know cartoons like super book uh bible man veggie tales and all those uh bible man veggie tales and all those uh bible man veggie tales and all those and then and then and then the last area i would say is then the last area i would say is then the last area i would say is then there's lots of other things like in there's lots of other things like in there's lots of other things like in areas like apologetics areas like apologetics areas like apologetics you study road maps you know perhaps you study road maps you know perhaps you study road maps you know perhaps people are struggling in an area where people are struggling in an area where people are struggling in an area where they want to get some help an area like they want to get some help an area like they want to get some help an area like addiction addiction addiction or things like that and we have content or things like that and we have content or things like that and we have content that can help them that can help them that can help them as well so um a lot of different types as well so um a lot of different types as well so um a lot of different types of content of content of content um but those are some of the more um um but those are some of the more um um but those are some of the more um often used or popular ones often used or popular ones often used or popular ones yeah what a great asset for so the way yeah what a great asset for so the way yeah what a great asset for so the way is that churches is that churches is that churches subscribe to right now media then it's

subscribe to right now media then it's subscribe to right now media then it's offered to their congregation offered to their congregation offered to their congregation to consume that content right yeah to consume that content right yeah to consume that content right yeah that's exactly right that's exactly right that's exactly right and um they work with us to and um they work with us to and um they work with us to set up the script uh subscription they set up the script uh subscription they set up the script uh subscription they being the church being the church being the church we also work some with businesses and we also work some with businesses and we also work some with businesses and schools but mostly with churches schools but mostly with churches schools but mostly with churches and then what the church will do and and then what the church will do and and then what the church will do and we'll we'll we'll will help with that is really promote will help with that is really promote will help with that is really promote um the platform and promote the um the platform and promote the um the platform and promote the availability availability availability of uh the subscription and for all of of uh the subscription and for all of of uh the subscription and for all of their congregation it really their congregation it really their congregation it really comes across as a free resource that comes across as a free resource that comes across as a free resource that they can uh register they can uh register they can uh register and you know begin using um for all and you know begin using um for all and you know begin using um for all kinds of things as i said in in study kinds of things as i said in in study kinds of things as i said in in study groups in the home um groups in the home um groups in the home um you know it's some churches also use it you know it's some churches also use it you know it's some churches also use it for training and so on so for training and so on so for training and so on so um yeah but that's how the the uh um yeah but that's how the the uh um yeah but that's how the the uh you know kind of the subscription model you know kind of the subscription model you know kind of the subscription model works yeah i'm thinking of parents out works yeah i'm thinking of parents out works yeah i'm thinking of parents out there that there that there that i have two teenage boys that are in high i have two teenage boys that are in high i have two teenage boys that are in high school now but as they're school now but as they're school now but as they're having to do school from home you know having to do school from home you know having to do school from home you know you can tune in and there's some you can tune in and there's some you can tune in and there's some amazing content for them to consume what amazing content for them to consume what amazing content for them to consume what a great tool for the church to offer a great tool for the church to offer a great tool for the church to offer those those those those families huh yeah it it those families huh yeah it it those families huh yeah it it it really is and and you know you kind it really is and and you know you kind it really is and and you know you kind of hit that point that of hit that point that of hit that point that obviously we're in a season now and with obviously we're in a season now and with obviously we're in a season now and with the pandemic the pandemic the pandemic and now that we're in 2021 we're hoping and now that we're in 2021 we're hoping and now that we're in 2021 we're hoping that's that's that's uh that season is gonna at some point uh that season is gonna at some point uh that season is gonna at some point here be behind us but here be behind us but here be behind us but um you know we're just seeing even more

um you know we're just seeing even more um you know we're just seeing even more activity with activity with activity with you know you know home studies and uh you know you know home studies and uh you know you know home studies and uh you know uh it could be teenage studies you know uh it could be teenage studies you know uh it could be teenage studies and you know we're also seeing a lot of and you know we're also seeing a lot of and you know we're also seeing a lot of families doing more studies together families doing more studies together families doing more studies together um you know with right now media and um you know with right now media and um you know with right now media and there's some great um there's some great um there's some great um studies out there for families to do studies out there for families to do studies out there for families to do i've i know personally i've i know personally i've i know personally with my son home from college and he's with my son home from college and he's with my son home from college and he's been home a bit longer than normal we been home a bit longer than normal we been home a bit longer than normal we had enough you know some good had enough you know some good had enough you know some good opportunities to do some studies opportunities to do some studies opportunities to do some studies together together together yeah i i mean in a day and age where we yeah i i mean in a day and age where we yeah i i mean in a day and age where we are right now with this pandemic and are right now with this pandemic and are right now with this pandemic and church at home is such a popular thing church at home is such a popular thing church at home is such a popular thing what a phenomenal platform and tool to what a phenomenal platform and tool to what a phenomenal platform and tool to be able to expand a church can expand be able to expand a church can expand be able to expand a church can expand their their their library or their resources by 27 000 library or their resources by 27 000 library or their resources by 27 000 not bad yeah a lot out there not bad yeah a lot out there not bad yeah a lot out there yeah so so your your specific role yeah so so your your specific role yeah so so your your specific role is you're the vp of customer success is you're the vp of customer success is you're the vp of customer success um so how do you how do you describe a um so how do you how do you describe a um so how do you how do you describe a successful customer successful customer successful customer yeah that's a great question i would say yeah that's a great question i would say yeah that's a great question i would say you know we have really two main goals you know we have really two main goals you know we have really two main goals with our with our with our our customer success organization i'm our customer success organization i'm our customer success organization i'm oversimplifying a little but these are oversimplifying a little but these are oversimplifying a little but these are our two primary uh focus areas you know our two primary uh focus areas you know our two primary uh focus areas you know one is we just want to gra one is we just want to gra one is we just want to gra you know create like a a great you know create like a a great you know create like a a great experience experience experience for our customers as they're interacting for our customers as they're interacting for our customers as they're interacting with with right now media with with right now media with with right now media whether that be with our people so we whether that be with our people so we whether that be with our people so we have consultants that help our churches

have consultants that help our churches have consultants that help our churches really really really ramp up and promote the platform we just ramp up and promote the platform we just ramp up and promote the platform we just want that all to be a great experience want that all to be a great experience want that all to be a great experience for them for them for them and the second focus area is we you know and the second focus area is we you know and the second focus area is we you know we want to ensure we want to ensure we want to ensure that our customers obviously being the that our customers obviously being the that our customers obviously being the churches and the congregation churches and the congregation churches and the congregation are really getting the most value uh are really getting the most value uh are really getting the most value uh from the platform from the platform from the platform you know if i were to just elaborate on you know if i were to just elaborate on you know if i were to just elaborate on that second point kind of related to that second point kind of related to that second point kind of related to value value value um you know i would say a successful um you know i would say a successful um you know i would say a successful customer customer customer has a few kind of common attributes one has a few kind of common attributes one has a few kind of common attributes one would be would be would be you know a high percentage of their you know a high percentage of their you know a high percentage of their congregation it you know has an active congregation it you know has an active congregation it you know has an active user account user account user account meaning they've really reached a lot of meaning they've really reached a lot of meaning they've really reached a lot of their congregation their congregation their congregation and they're they're engaged with the and they're they're engaged with the and they're they're engaged with the platform platform platform another key thing that we look for um in another key thing that we look for um in another key thing that we look for um in success is success is success is is that the congregation is really using is that the congregation is really using is that the congregation is really using right now media across right now media across right now media across a lot of you know diverse areas like a lot of you know diverse areas like a lot of you know diverse areas like you know small groups and personal you know small groups and personal you know small groups and personal utilization utilization utilization um also a lot of churches use um also a lot of churches use um also a lot of churches use the platform as i said for training um the platform as i said for training um the platform as i said for training um so we we try to so we we try to so we we try to you know uh we try to look at their you know uh we try to look at their you know uh we try to look at their usage patterns and make sure that usage patterns and make sure that usage patterns and make sure that they're taking advantage of all those they're taking advantage of all those they're taking advantage of all those you know diverse content types and you know diverse content types and you know diverse content types and really getting the most benefit really getting the most benefit really getting the most benefit and then finally we also encourage and then finally we also encourage and then finally we also encourage um our churches to really take advantage um our churches to really take advantage um our churches to really take advantage of other programs like you know our of other programs like you know our of other programs like you know our simulcast events i really haven't simulcast events i really haven't simulcast events i really haven't i don't think mentioned that but we have i don't think mentioned that but we have i don't think mentioned that but we have um this year we have i think um this year we have i think um this year we have i think five or six simulcast events on things

five or six simulcast events on things five or six simulcast events on things like uh like uh like uh faith and work uh marriage and faith and work uh marriage and faith and work uh marriage and and other topics and uh you know that's and other topics and uh you know that's and other topics and uh you know that's just a great thing the church if they're just a great thing the church if they're just a great thing the church if they're a right now media subscriber they can a right now media subscriber they can a right now media subscriber they can host that simulcast host that simulcast host that simulcast event for free and they stream that and event for free and they stream that and event for free and they stream that and then then then um you know their congregation can take um you know their congregation can take um you know their congregation can take advantage of it and we've gotten a lot advantage of it and we've gotten a lot advantage of it and we've gotten a lot of great feedback on those events and of great feedback on those events and of great feedback on those events and we've we've we've expanded those this year wow so it kind expanded those this year wow so it kind expanded those this year wow so it kind of sounds like of sounds like of sounds like i use this term around here is we always i use this term around here is we always i use this term around here is we always want to create a raving fan want to create a raving fan want to create a raving fan you know we want somebody to just be you know we want somebody to just be you know we want somebody to just be really excited about working with really excited about working with really excited about working with missional marketing missional marketing missional marketing and you could say the same thing not and you could say the same thing not and you could say the same thing not only are you wanting to have your only are you wanting to have your only are you wanting to have your those churches or those organizations or those churches or those organizations or those churches or those organizations or businesses businesses businesses see you as a raving fan but then you're see you as a raving fan but then you're see you as a raving fan but then you're helping them be raving fans to their helping them be raving fans to their helping them be raving fans to their audience and their congregation so that audience and their congregation so that audience and their congregation so that that's uh that's that's uh that's that's uh that's that's a really cool i love how you guys that's a really cool i love how you guys that's a really cool i love how you guys are postured that way are postured that way are postured that way yeah that's a great analogy yeah yeah yeah that's a great analogy yeah yeah yeah that's a great analogy yeah yeah yeah so yeah so yeah so what are some of the best practices that what are some of the best practices that what are some of the best practices that your seasoned churches your seasoned churches your seasoned churches use when they're using right now media use when they're using right now media use when they're using right now media it seems to me that the churches that i it seems to me that the churches that i it seems to me that the churches that i talk to that are talk to that are talk to that are that love you guys and are using your that love you guys and are using your that love you guys and are using your guys a lot of it is small group guys a lot of it is small group guys a lot of it is small group type of curriculum or just good general type of curriculum or just good general type of curriculum or just good general resources but is resources but is resources but is are there some best practices that are there some best practices that are there some best practices that churches how they're using churches how they're using churches how they're using the platform yeah yeah there are and and the platform yeah yeah there are and and the platform yeah yeah there are and and uh uh uh the churches we partner with so many of the churches we partner with so many of the churches we partner with so many of them do a great job of this but them do a great job of this but them do a great job of this but i would say a couple of the really i would say a couple of the really i would say a couple of the really common ones that are the most effective common ones that are the most effective common ones that are the most effective is you know we find that once is you know we find that once is you know we find that once users really get onto right now media

users really get onto right now media users really get onto right now media and start using it and start using it and start using it for whatever they're doing i mean maybe for whatever they're doing i mean maybe for whatever they're doing i mean maybe it's like i said showing it's like i said showing it's like i said showing their kids at home or study groups or uh their kids at home or study groups or uh their kids at home or study groups or uh you know you know you know personal devotional time or whatever personal devotional time or whatever personal devotional time or whatever they're they're really hooked i mean they're they're really hooked i mean they're they're really hooked i mean i know when i first started using the i know when i first started using the i know when i first started using the platform many years ago i mean it was platform many years ago i mean it was platform many years ago i mean it was just just just i was just enamored with all of the i was just enamored with all of the i was just enamored with all of the great content so great content so great content so so one of the first best practices is so one of the first best practices is so one of the first best practices is just we encourage the churches to just we encourage the churches to just we encourage the churches to promote right now media to their promote right now media to their promote right now media to their congregation i mean congregation i mean congregation i mean seasons like easter and christmas are seasons like easter and christmas are seasons like easter and christmas are great times to do that just remind them great times to do that just remind them great times to do that just remind them that they have a that they have a that they have a subscription at the church and it's free subscription at the church and it's free subscription at the church and it's free to register and you can take advantage to register and you can take advantage to register and you can take advantage of us that's one is of us that's one is of us that's one is you know promote several times a year we you know promote several times a year we you know promote several times a year we say two to four times a year is a good say two to four times a year is a good say two to four times a year is a good cadence another best practice is cadence another best practice is cadence another best practice is you know just have a good way a simple you know just have a good way a simple you know just have a good way a simple way to way to way to to onboard your new um you know your new to onboard your new um you know your new to onboard your new um you know your new church members church members church members um you know for example a lot of um you know for example a lot of um you know for example a lot of churches churches churches um that we work with um you know they um that we work with um you know they um that we work with um you know they just do a great job of including just do a great job of including just do a great job of including some simple instructions on how to some simple instructions on how to some simple instructions on how to activate their activate their activate their account right now media account is part account right now media account is part account right now media account is part of their you know their church new of their you know their church new of their you know their church new member welcome kid and member welcome kid and member welcome kid and and that allows you to keep the church and that allows you to keep the church and that allows you to keep the church kind of updated where kind of updated where kind of updated where you know instead of a year later you've you know instead of a year later you've you know instead of a year later you've only got maybe a only got maybe a only got maybe a smaller portion you're bringing the new smaller portion you're bringing the new smaller portion you're bringing the new members onto the platform and they're members onto the platform and they're members onto the platform and they're experience you know they're they're experience you know they're they're experience you know they're they're experiencing it and then experiencing it and then experiencing it and then you know another one um you know final you know another one um you know final you know another one um you know final kind of best practice and

kind of best practice and kind of best practice and and there's a lot that we have but um we and there's a lot that we have but um we and there's a lot that we have but um we find this to be really effective is when find this to be really effective is when find this to be really effective is when the pastor the pastor the pastor or another church leader can recommend or another church leader can recommend or another church leader can recommend some specific content some specific content some specific content i mentioned earlier we just have lots of i mentioned earlier we just have lots of i mentioned earlier we just have lots of content it's great content it's great content it's great sometimes people maybe they don't know sometimes people maybe they don't know sometimes people maybe they don't know where to start so if the pastor can where to start so if the pastor can where to start so if the pastor can can recommend a certain study or a can recommend a certain study or a can recommend a certain study or a series series series like for example let's say the pastor like for example let's say the pastor like for example let's say the pastor might be going through a series might be going through a series might be going through a series of a sermon series on say dealing with of a sermon series on say dealing with of a sermon series on say dealing with anxiety or anxiety or anxiety or you know maybe racial unity or obviously you know maybe racial unity or obviously you know maybe racial unity or obviously those were very relevant those were very relevant those were very relevant topics this past year continue to be topics this past year continue to be topics this past year continue to be well in that case you know some of the well in that case you know some of the well in that case you know some of the pastors that we worked with pastors that we worked with pastors that we worked with you know they would recommend one of our you know they would recommend one of our you know they would recommend one of our series on that same topic so they could series on that same topic so they could series on that same topic so they could you know preach on that uh topic but you know preach on that uh topic but you know preach on that uh topic but also encourage also encourage also encourage them to check out the congregation to them to check out the congregation to them to check out the congregation to check out additional um check out additional um check out additional um resources that we provide and that's resources that we provide and that's resources that we provide and that's just a great way just a great way just a great way maybe there's some people that haven't maybe there's some people that haven't maybe there's some people that haven't gotten onto the platform gotten onto the platform gotten onto the platform that they can get people onto the that they can get people onto the that they can get people onto the platform with us platform with us platform with us a specific um you know content a specific um you know content a specific um you know content recommendations those are a few we have recommendations those are a few we have recommendations those are a few we have lots of other you know best practices lots of other you know best practices lots of other you know best practices but those are some but those are some but those are some common ones well then you you mentioned common ones well then you you mentioned common ones well then you you mentioned just the added value of just the added value of just the added value of the simulcast that you're going to be the simulcast that you're going to be the simulcast that you're going to be doing and just more and more and more it doing and just more and more and more it doing and just more and more and more it seems like seems like seems like you know you guys guys when i look to you know you guys guys when i look to you know you guys guys when i look to the the future um and the the future um and the the future um and and where you guys are tell me a little and where you guys are tell me a little and where you guys are tell me a little bit about bit about bit about what is on the horizon for right now what is on the horizon for right now what is on the horizon for right now media like what are some cool things media like what are some cool things media like what are some cool things that are coming down that that are coming down that that are coming down that church churches can get excited about
