whatever it might be I thought that was whatever it might be I thought that was some pretty cool technology there um and some pretty cool technology there um and some pretty cool technology there um and the way that he was explaining it and the way that he was explaining it and the way that he was explaining it and yeah that was that was kind of one of yeah that was that was kind of one of yeah that was that was kind of one of the standouts for me that was uh I think the standouts for me that was uh I think the standouts for me that was uh I think rhombus might have been the company rhus rhombus might have been the company rhus rhombus might have been the company rhus yeah but yeah they and that was very yeah but yeah they and that was very yeah but yeah they and that was very cool on that note I didn't bring this up cool on that note I didn't bring this up cool on that note I didn't bring this up to you at during while we were there but to you at during while we were there but to you at during while we were there but at the glues hackathon both last year at the glues hackathon both last year at the glues hackathon both last year and this year there were people who and this year there were people who and this year there were people who worked on an AI tool that would visually worked on an AI tool that would visually worked on an AI tool that would visually take track of take track of take track of attendance using the same type of attendance using the same type of attendance using the same type of Technology it would use facial Technology it would use facial Technology it would use facial recognition technology and take recognition technology and take recognition technology and take attendance for who attends the church attendance for who attends the church attendance for who attends the church and it's one of those things kind of and it's one of those things kind of and it's one of those things kind of like the dog robots it's both amazing like the dog robots it's both amazing like the dog robots it's both amazing but you also get a little bit of but you also get a little bit of but you also get a little bit of a yeah kind of feeling to it uh a yeah kind of feeling to it uh a yeah kind of feeling to it uh but I I didn't say that to you at the but I I didn't say that to you at the but I I didn't say that to you at the time but it made me think about that time but it made me think about that time but it made me think about that I've I've seen very similar I've I've seen very similar I've I've seen very similar Technologies um yeah using facial Technologies um yeah using facial Technologies um yeah using facial recognition yeah it's actually I was recognition yeah it's actually I was recognition yeah it's actually I was talking to a uh one of my Church clients talking to a uh one of my Church clients talking to a uh one of my Church clients um several months ago and and they have um several months ago and and they have um several months ago and and they have a facial Rec facial recognition a facial Rec facial recognition a facial Rec facial recognition technology in their security system and technology in their security system and technology in their security system and he was sharing with me a story that they he was sharing with me a story that they he was sharing with me a story that they had had where they had someone if I had had where they had someone if I had had where they had someone if I remember the story correctly it was remember the story correctly it was remember the story correctly it was something like this they have a daycare something like this they have a daycare something like this they have a daycare or a preschool Center at their church or a preschool Center at their church or a preschool Center at their church building and there was a guy who was building and there was a guy who was building and there was a guy who was kind of hanging around outside the doors kind of hanging around outside the doors kind of hanging around outside the doors and it was kind of creeping some people

and it was kind of creeping some people and it was kind of creeping some people out he was able to with their security out he was able to with their security out he was able to with their security system system actually be able to system system actually be able to system system actually be able to recognize the guy's face and actually recognize the guy's face and actually recognize the guy's face and actually track him to being someone who had track him to being someone who had track him to being someone who had actually been attending their Sunday actually been attending their Sunday actually been attending their Sunday morning worship services and he kind of morning worship services and he kind of morning worship services and he kind of made this connection and was able to made this connection and was able to made this connection and was able to actually figure out who it was and actually figure out who it was and actually figure out who it was and address it and it was it was a harmless address it and it was it was a harmless address it and it was it was a harmless person but it was somebody whose social person but it was somebody whose social person but it was somebody whose social skills were a little bit off and so when skills were a little bit off and so when skills were a little bit off and so when they were kind of hanging around outside they were kind of hanging around outside they were kind of hanging around outside of the preschool or the daycare it just of the preschool or the daycare it just of the preschool or the daycare it just had a little bit of a of an off feeling had a little bit of a of an off feeling had a little bit of a of an off feeling but that facial recognition software but that facial recognition software but that facial recognition software because it's a larger Church um they because it's a larger Church um they because it's a larger Church um they were able to kind of say okay this is were able to kind of say okay this is were able to kind of say okay this is somebody who's not like just showing up somebody who's not like just showing up somebody who's not like just showing up this is somebody who's actually been this is somebody who's actually been this is somebody who's actually been around been at the church services and around been at the church services and around been at the church services and that sort of thing which I thought was that sort of thing which I thought was that sort of thing which I thought was kind of an interesting way of using that kind of an interesting way of using that kind of an interesting way of using that technology very cool yeah I yeah I technology very cool yeah I yeah I technology very cool yeah I yeah I agree okay let's let's uh put a bow on agree okay let's let's uh put a bow on agree okay let's let's uh put a bow on this and do you have one or two or maybe this and do you have one or two or maybe this and do you have one or two or maybe even three sort of closing thoughts from even three sort of closing thoughts from even three sort of closing thoughts from this Whirlwind of AI experience that this Whirlwind of AI experience that this Whirlwind of AI experience that you've had over the course of the last you've had over the course of the last you've had over the course of the last couple of months you've hung around with couple of months you've hung around with couple of months you've hung around with people who are working in AI at like people who are working in AI at like people who are working in AI at like some really really high level stuff some really really high level stuff some really really high level stuff we're seeing it being employed outside we're seeing it being employed outside we're seeing it being employed outside the church inside the church um are the church inside the church um are the church inside the church um are there there there any any any particular lessons that you've learned particular lessons that you've learned particular lessons that you've learned that you think could be worth sharing that you think could be worth sharing that you think could be worth sharing with our with our with our audience yeah I'd say there's two things audience yeah I'd say there's two things audience yeah I'd say there's two things that kind of goes back to the AI that kind of goes back to the AI that kind of goes back to the AI conference that I think our church our

conference that I think our church our conference that I think our church our listeners should be aware of uh so last listeners should be aware of uh so last listeners should be aware of uh so last year when we were doing AI related stuff year when we were doing AI related stuff year when we were doing AI related stuff at the conference there was this at the conference there was this at the conference there was this question of how do we build stuff and I question of how do we build stuff and I question of how do we build stuff and I was like oh you you build stuff you you was like oh you you build stuff you you was like oh you you build stuff you you do this and and you this is how you do this and and you this is how you do this and and you this is how you build stuff this year it was almost like build stuff this year it was almost like build stuff this year it was almost like this this thing of hey we can build this this thing of hey we can build this this thing of hey we can build anything so the question now is not what anything so the question now is not what anything so the question now is not what to build it's it's not how to build to build it's it's not how to build to build it's it's not how to build stuff it's what to build and what is stuff it's what to build and what is stuff it's what to build and what is worth building building MH and I think worth building building MH and I think worth building building MH and I think that's one thing that people should be that's one thing that people should be that's one thing that people should be aware of that in this coming you know aware of that in this coming you know aware of that in this coming you know year uh year and a half there's year uh year and a half there's year uh year and a half there's definitely this thing of definitely this thing of definitely this thing of um what should we build not not how uh um what should we build not not how uh um what should we build not not how uh the second thing that I just found the second thing that I just found the second thing that I just found interesting is it was I think it was uh interesting is it was I think it was uh interesting is it was I think it was uh a Google guy who said that when it comes a Google guy who said that when it comes a Google guy who said that when it comes to teaching AI to teaching AI to teaching AI stuff the future of teaching AI stuff is stuff the future of teaching AI stuff is stuff the future of teaching AI stuff is not in facts and and data it's actually not in facts and and data it's actually not in facts and and data it's actually in um what what the future of AI needs in um what what the future of AI needs in um what what the future of AI needs are are are philosophers and people that that that philosophers and people that that that philosophers and people that that that where AI is going is actually teaching where AI is going is actually teaching where AI is going is actually teaching it how to think better about complex it how to think better about complex it how to think better about complex issues and uh and also along a lot those issues and uh and also along a lot those issues and uh and also along a lot those same lines um right now all of the the same lines um right now all of the the same lines um right now all of the the computer systems that they use with AI computer systems that they use with AI computer systems that they use with AI just take tons of power because it's
