to do ministry and composer said why to do ministry and composer said why don't you go right back to where you don't you go right back to where you don't you go right back to where you grew up you already have a network of grew up you already have a network of grew up you already have a network of friends you've got family days you've friends you've got family days you've friends you've got family days you've got relationships there because you know got relationships there because you know got relationships there because you know as well as I do when you go to a new as well as I do when you go to a new as well as I do when you go to a new town it takes you years to develop town it takes you years to develop town it takes you years to develop relationships why not go back to your relationships why not go back to your relationships why not go back to your hometown where you already know hometown where you already know hometown where you already know everybody yes it sure how that's kind of everybody yes it sure how that's kind of everybody yes it sure how that's kind of my story I did that it took a lot to do my story I did that it took a lot to do my story I did that it took a lot to do that but for us to come full circle back that but for us to come full circle back that but for us to come full circle back to where we grew up and and I dreamed of to where we grew up and and I dreamed of to where we grew up and and I dreamed of seeing a church a contemporary-style seeing a church a contemporary-style seeing a church a contemporary-style church like true north like I said even church like true north like I said even church like true north like I said even from my seminary days now with Steve from my seminary days now with Steve from my seminary days now with Steve gave us a few from that area as well was gave us a few from that area as well was gave us a few from that area as well was he from divas actually from Illinois ok he from divas actually from Illinois ok he from divas actually from Illinois ok interesting God use the Illinois boy interesting God use the Illinois boy interesting God use the Illinois boy brought him to South Carolina he was on brought him to South Carolina he was on brought him to South Carolina he was on staff at a local church here he saw need staff at a local church here he saw need staff at a local church here he saw need for this style of ministry and he for this style of ministry and he for this style of ministry and he stepped out in faith and started it he stepped out in faith and started it he stepped out in faith and started it he and I had a mutual friend and I the and I had a mutual friend and I the and I had a mutual friend and I the mutual friend suggested that we get mutual friend suggested that we get mutual friend suggested that we get together because our mutual friend knew together because our mutual friend knew together because our mutual friend knew me he need my heart and my dream for a me he need my heart and my dream for a me he need my heart and my dream for a church like this in north augusta and up church like this in north augusta and up church like this in north augusta and up so Steven I kind of got together and we so Steven I kind of got together and we so Steven I kind of got together and we talked about it and about a year and a talked about it and about a year and a talked about it and about a year and a half into it true north is growing went half into it true north is growing went half into it true north is growing went crazy and Steve caught up and so now you crazy and Steve caught up and so now you crazy and Steve caught up and so now you want to come help and just kind of want to come help and just kind of want to come help and just kind of no-brainer for me very cool very good no-brainer for me very cool very good no-brainer for me very cool very good right for that one yeah that's cool you right for that one yeah that's cool you right for that one yeah that's cool you know a lot of times you run into church know a lot of times you run into church know a lot of times you run into church leaders who in you know thriving leaders who in you know thriving leaders who in you know thriving churches that are growing like yours churches that are growing like yours churches that are growing like yours where there is a strong you know leader where there is a strong you know leader where there is a strong you know leader within it who is from that community and within it who is from that community and within it who is from that community and I think that is a you know that's a good I think that is a you know that's a good I think that is a you know that's a good thing to kind of ready to keep in mind thing to kind of ready to keep in mind thing to kind of ready to keep in mind particularly for tricks planners or

these guys I'm giving them syllabus for these guys I'm giving them syllabus for these guys I'm giving them your reading assignments every month your reading assignments every month your reading of a certain ministry or event a part of a certain ministry or event each month they'll attend leadership each month they'll attend leadership each month they'll attend leadership team meetings we want them to get the team meetings we want them to get the team meetings we want them to get the full spectrum everything that we do here full spectrum everything that we do here full spectrum
