that next step think about particularly that next step as people are thinking about how do I as people are thinking about how do I as people are thinking about how do I get plugged into leading what bet to me leadership development is a great topic to have a development is a great topic to have a development is a great topic to have a discussion around because I have never discussion around your talents I think that we're all trying to journey I think that we're all trying to journey I think that we're all trying to journey with so for us at valley creek it really

going to be an important call on our house if you be an important call on our house if you be an important call on our house if you will for us we believe that we're all will for us we believe that have the mind of Christ you have the holy the mind of Christ you have the holy the mind of Christ you have the holy spirit within us so by virtue of that we spirit within us so by virtue of that we spirit within us so by virtue of that we are leaders and that's what we're called are leaders and that's what we're called are leaders and that's what we're called to do we are called to be here to be big why for us why that it's a pretty big why for us why that it's a pretty big why for us why that was important is because it's really was important is because it's really was important is because it's really have a heartbeat of who we believe that have a heartbeat of who we believe that have a heartbeat of who we believe that God has created all of us to be a leader God has created all of us people into the church letting the meet people into the church letting the meet Christ being saved and serving for us Christ being saved and serving for us Christ being saved and serving for us that's where it really starts we want to that's where it really starts we want to that's where it really starts we want to see them to develop into becoming see them to develop into becoming see them to develop into becoming everything that God desires for them to everything that God desires for them to everything that God desires for them to be and leading in whatever atmosphere be and leading in whatever atmosphere be and leading in whatever atmosphere there in in their homes and the there in in their homes and the there in in their homes and the workplaces in their schools in the workplaces in their schools in the workplaces in their schools in the communities it's a really big why for us communities it's a really big why for us communities it's a really big why for us because it's what we believe that that's because it's what we believe that that's because it's what we believe that that's what God's desire is for all of us what God's desire is for all of us what God's desire is for love that you're raising your entire churches you know you're asking any churches you know you're asking any churches you know you're asking any question you're asking a bigger question question certain amount of roles of the church a certain amount of roles of the church a certain amount of roles of the church not just for like you know if you happen not just for like you know if you happen not just for like you know if you happen to have the right title at the end of to have the right title at the end of to have the right title at the end of your you know your job description that your you know your job description that your you know your job description that sort of thing it's for everyone we're sort of thing it's for everyone we're sort of thing it's for everyone we're asking everyone to lead in their area of asking everyone to lead in their area of asking everyone to lead in their area of influence at the end of the day you know influence at the end of the day you know influence at the end of the day you know leadership is is influence yeah that's leadership is is influence yeah that's leadership is is influence yeah that's not really cool now how what are some of not really cool now how what are some of not really cool now how what are some of the ways that you articulate that vision the ways that you articulate that vision the ways that you articulate that vision to people how do you actually kind of to people how do you actually kind of to people how do you actually kind of cast that vision to you know people at cast that vision to you know people at word leader and here's what we the word leader and here's what we the word leader and here's what we discovered is that people are scared to discovered is that people are scared to discovered is that people are scared to death about work that's true ok I just death about work that's true ok I just death about work that's true ok I just could be a leader all of a sudden just could be a leader all of a sudden just could be a leader all of a sudden just depending on what their experiences are depending on what their experiences are depending on what their experiences are that what they have defined lead or add that what they have defined lead or add that what they have defined lead or add I think they begin to disqualify I think they begin to disqualify I think they begin to disqualify themselves immediately and so one of the themselves immediately and so one of the themselves immediately and so one of the things that we realized would be things that we realized would be things that we realized would be important is to help them find their important is to help them find their important is to help them find their identity first to find their identity in identity first to find their identity in identity first to find their identity in Christ and realize that man we receive Christ and realize that man we receive Christ and realize that man we receive the grace of Jesus that gives us access the grace of Jesus that gives us access the grace of Jesus that gives us access to to God's heart and do to to God's heart and do to to God's heart and do we release our kingdom through that we release our kingdom through that we release our kingdom through that identity and once they have that identity and once they have that identity and once they have that security and their identity and who they security and their identity and who they security and their identity and who they are in him then we begin to foster it's are in him then we begin to foster it's are in him then we begin to foster it's almost a hunger to desire that they have almost a hunger to desire that they have almost a hunger to desire that they have been want to lead because so excited been want to lead because so excited been want to lead because so excited about what's happened in their journey about what's happened in their journey about what's happened in their journey but they want to tell other people well but they want to tell other people well but they want to tell other people well the minute that they start telling other the minute that they start telling other the minute that they start telling other people about what Jesus has done in your people about what Jesus has done in your people about what Jesus has done in your life guess what's happening they're life guess what's happening they're life guess what's happening they're really that's do it so just helping them really that's do it so just helping them really that's do it so just helping them to really kind of change their thinking to really kind of change their thinking to really kind of change their thinking and start to realize that when we say and start to realize that when we say and start to realize that when we say hey we think you'd be a great leader it hey we think you'd be a great leader it hey we think you'd be a great leader it doesn't mean that you're going to be doesn't mean that you're going to be doesn't mean that you're going to be trying to give platform communication trying to give platform communication trying to give platform communication pieces or that you're going to have 130 pieces or that you're going to have 130 pieces or that you're going to have 130 esters that you have to email everybody esters that you have to email everybody esters that you have to email man's there there there there that man's there there there there that man's there there there there following their tracking with us we have following their tracking with us we have following their tracking with us we have different little leadership different little leadership different little leadership opportunities for them that they step opportunities for them that they step opportunities for them that they step into we have a very structured program into we have a very structured program into we have a very structured program if you will this for our HUD students if you will this for our HUD students if you will this for our HUD students that our students street and we just that our students street and we just that our students street and we just have different opportunities but we have different opportunities but we have different opportunities but we talked about it in every aspect we have talked about it in every aspect we have talked about it in every aspect we have a way that we invite people into valley a way that we invite people into valley a way that we invite people into valley creek would take up to something we call creek would take up to something we call creek would take up to something we call the pathway for steps of the class if the pathway for steps of the class if the pathway for steps of the class if you will and we begin talking about it you will and we begin talking about it you will and we begin talking about it in the very first moment that they come in the very first moment that they come in the very first moment that they come in called you to carry his kingdom he's caused you to be a person kingdom he's caused you to be a person kingdom he's caused you to be a person of influence for us that's what it looks of influence for questions we were asking this question is how do we connect people exactly what is how do we connect people exactly what is how do we connect people exactly what you're talking about all these people you're talking about all these people you're talking about all these people that are coming in especially about two that are coming in especially about two that are coming in especially about two years ago man we were in a big growth years ago man we were in a big growth years ago man we were in a big growth spurt and we're saying we've got these spurt and we're saying we've got these spurt and we're saying we've got these people how do we connect them and we people how do we connect them and we people how do we connect them and we realize we're asking the wrong questions realize we're asking the wrong questions realize we're asking the wrong questions right the question for us is how do we right the question for us is how do we right the question for us is how do we create environments to develop Jesus create environments to develop Jesus create environments to develop Jesus inspired leaders because it's people inspired leaders because it's people inspired leaders because it's people that are there not man-made or Jesus that are there not man-made or Jesus that are there not man-made or Jesus inspired then they're going to start inspired then they're going to start inspired then they're going to start leading they're going to start inviting leading they're going to start inviting leading they're going to start inviting they're going to start engaging in all they're going to start engaging in all they're going to start engaging in all the places that they are our outreach the places that they are our outreach the places that they are our outreach strategy is one word I guess two words strategy is one word I guess two words strategy is one word I guess two words our people we need to tell them before our people we need to tell them before our people we need to tell them before biggie just before Easter before biggie just before Easter before biggie just before Easter before Christmas we tell them you are our Christmas we tell them you are our Christmas we tell them you are our outreach strategy so with their rising outreach strategy so with their rising outreach strategy so with their rising up and they're leaning in to that up and they're leaning in to that up and they're leaning in to that leadership calling on their life then leadership calling on their life then leadership calling on their life then that's how they're bringing people in so that's how they're bringing people in so that's how they're bringing people in so that's the first kind of part of that that's the first kind of part of that that's the first of trips that's big on programs and of trips that's big on programs and maybe even within the last probably 12 maybe even within the last probably 12 maybe even within the last probably 12 to 18 know a thousand response I mean you know a thousand people come to a gathering but it was

people to discover what we really help people to discover what we really help people to discover what being a kingdom leader looks like an being a kingdom leader looks like an being a kingdom leader
