the toolkit is now the toolkit is now um but um but um but you know if you're going to go and try you know if you're going to go and try you know if you're going to go and try to solve some of these problems and you to solve some of these problems and you to solve some of these problems and you run into these run into these run into these uh high-cost scenarios uh high-cost scenarios uh high-cost scenarios uh how can you leverage and innovate using how can you leverage and innovate using some of these tools to lower the cost some of these tools to lower the cost some of these tools to lower the cost right and you know the the crazy thing right and you know the the crazy thing right and you know the the crazy thing is the technology on the wireless front is the technology on the wireless front is the technology on the wireless front is moving so fast right is moving so fast right is moving so fast right uh that I I think uh some of the uh that I I think uh some of the uh that I I think uh some of the original thinking and estimates that original thinking and estimates that original thinking and estimates that went into the proposals going into beat went into the proposals going into beat went into the proposals going into beat uh might be obsolete already right and uh might be obsolete already right and uh might be obsolete already right and we were also talking about longevity you we were also talking about longevity you we were also talking about longevity you know like iot coffee talk we always talk know like iot coffee talk we always talk know like iot coffee talk we always talk about look you know you can't go in here about look you know you can't go in here about look you know you can't go in here with this like I.T mindset that you're with this like I.T mindset that you're with this like I.T mindset that you're gonna like sit there and deploy gonna like sit there and deploy gonna like sit there and deploy something and then you know switch this something and then you know switch this something and then you know switch this stuff out in two years so that you can stuff out in two years so that you can stuff out in two years so that you can make your sales make your sales make your sales for that year right stuff has to last for that year right stuff has to last for that year right stuff has to last for a long time and same thing with the for a long time and same thing with the for a long time and same thing with the bead stuff right this is just bead stuff right this is just bead stuff right this is just implementation implementation implementation the initial deployment of infrastructure the initial deployment of infrastructure the initial deployment of infrastructure now you have to think about how do we now you have to think about how do we now you have to think about how do we support it how do we how do we do all support it how do we how do we do all support it how do we how do we do all this other stuff and and for the this other stuff and and for the this other stuff and and for the wireless stuff it boils down I mean wireless stuff it boils down I mean wireless stuff it boils down I mean there's a I think there's a I think there's a I think the the the the the the also the concern about also the concern about also the concern about um the Opex um the Opex um the Opex right especially energy yeah right especially energy yeah right especially energy yeah tends to be a little bit more expensive tends to be a little bit more expensive tends to be a little bit more expensive to run right to run right to run right what do you know the in in the context

what do you know the in in the context what do you know the in in the context of a rural broadband and uh of a rural broadband and uh of a rural broadband and uh and you know I and you know I and you know I I don't know I sometimes I don't like to I don't know I sometimes I don't like to I don't know I sometimes I don't like to use the word subsidy yeah but you know a use the word subsidy yeah but you know a use the word subsidy yeah but you know a lot of the you know to deploy what needs lot of the you know to deploy what needs lot of the you know to deploy what needs to be deployed to cover you know places to be deployed to cover you know places to be deployed to cover you know places uh you know might need some help for uh you know might need some help for uh you know might need some help for somebody's business case I mean look at somebody's business case I mean look at somebody's business case I mean look at the end of the day thinking about the end of the day thinking about the end of the day thinking about thinking about longevity and the fact thinking about longevity and the fact thinking about longevity and the fact that if again a hundred ways to skin a that if again a hundred ways to skin a that if again a hundred ways to skin a cat but also 100 cats if whatever gets cat but also 100 cats if whatever gets cat but also 100 cats if whatever gets deployed we can all argue right now that deployed we can all argue right now that deployed we can all argue right now that all of these uh you know 4G 5G cbrs all of these uh you know 4G 5G cbrs all of these uh you know 4G 5G cbrs license own license point to point Etc license own license point to point Etc license own license point to point Etc like they can they're all going to need like they can they're all going to need like they can they're all going to need that backhaul so if we were to just say that backhaul so if we were to just say that backhaul so if we were to just say you know what you know what you know what for the foreseeable future like fiber is for the foreseeable future like fiber is for the foreseeable future like fiber is the answer the answer the answer you know at least to get these folks you you know at least to get these folks you you know at least to get these folks you know close from a model perspective you know close from a model perspective you know close from a model perspective you know if I'm building something out and I know if I'm building something out and I know if I'm building something out and I have it's like Oh The Trenches are built have it's like Oh The Trenches are built have it's like Oh The Trenches are built this thing slid up I just have to take this thing slid up I just have to take this thing slid up I just have to take it from you know step two on I think it from you know step two on I think it from you know step two on I think that will lower the cost of acquisition that will lower the cost of acquisition that will lower the cost of acquisition for the would-be users uh unfortunately for the would-be users uh unfortunately for the would-be users uh unfortunately we tend never to think this way right we tend never to think this way right we tend never to think this way right and then you end up having 10 people 10 and then you end up having 10 people 10 and then you end up having 10 people 10 cats fighting for this finite pool of cats fighting for this finite pool of cats fighting for this finite pool of money to do money to do money to do right or wrong a business decision of right or wrong a business decision of right or wrong a business decision of like I'm going to build this thing out like I'm going to build this thing out like I'm going to build this thing out but in three years I do want that

but in three years I do want that but in three years I do want that upgrade contract I'm gonna go change upgrade contract I'm gonna go change upgrade contract I'm gonna go change some things here right I'm gonna plan some things here right I'm gonna plan some things here right I'm gonna plan obsolescence into my delivery yeah yeah obsolescence into my delivery yeah yeah obsolescence into my delivery yeah yeah because otherwise this makes no sense to because otherwise this makes no sense to because otherwise this makes no sense to me yeah yeah uh but me yeah yeah uh but me yeah yeah uh but that that's the thing that uh the buyers that that's the thing that uh the buyers that that's the thing that uh the buyers need to think about and need to think about and need to think about and um because you know the buyers are um because you know the buyers are um because you know the buyers are oftentimes municipalities right and so oftentimes municipalities right and so oftentimes municipalities right and so yeah unless they have like a technical yeah unless they have like a technical yeah unless they have like a technical person and you know like a lot of the person and you know like a lot of the person and you know like a lot of the the cities in need they don't have the the cities in need they don't have the the cities in need they don't have the technical expertise so you're going to technical expertise so you're going to technical expertise so you're going to have a bunch of like whatever private have a bunch of like whatever private have a bunch of like whatever private partners that are coming in to help uh partners that are coming in to help uh partners that are coming in to help uh deliver the network and maybe provide deliver the network and maybe provide deliver the network and maybe provide the support services but the the support services but the the support services but the municipality itself doesn't have that municipality itself doesn't have that municipality itself doesn't have that savvy so uh how do they push back how do savvy so uh how do they push back how do savvy so uh how do they push back how do they validate how do they they validate how do they they validate how do they um how do they clearly understand what um how do they clearly understand what um how do they clearly understand what the requirements are going in and then the requirements are going in and then the requirements are going in and then uh understand the implications of uh the uh understand the implications of uh the uh understand the implications of uh the technical implementation on uh you know technical implementation on uh you know technical implementation on uh you know sustainability as well as just Financial sustainability as well as just Financial sustainability as well as just Financial viability I mean it is was this the best viability I mean it is was this the best viability I mean it is was this the best architecture and Technology set for us architecture and Technology set for us architecture and Technology set for us to use for this and or did we just like to use for this and or did we just like to use for this and or did we just like really screw ourselves and like you said really screw ourselves and like you said really screw ourselves and like you said three years down the line These Guys three years down the line These Guys three years down the line These Guys these guys are you know trying to switch these guys are you know trying to switch these guys are you know trying to switch out our equipment and out our equipment and out our equipment and um or we're we're you know are they they
