expand to others uh in retrospect maybe expand to others uh in retrospect maybe we should done windows before Linux but we should done windows before Linux but we should done windows before Linux but we ended up doing Linux was the first we ended up doing Linux was the first we ended up doing Linux was the first like real like crossplatform work we did like real like crossplatform work we did like real like crossplatform work we did and then we started working on Windows and then we started working on Windows and then we started working on Windows in Earnest about a year ago yeah it's in Earnest about a year ago yeah it's in Earnest about a year ago yeah it's interesting though because there's kind interesting though because there's kind interesting though because there's kind of a I mean you you you have to think of a I mean you you you have to think of a I mean you you you have to think about startups startup culture and the about startups startup culture and the about startups startup culture and the relationships that startups open source relationships that startups open source relationships that startups open source have with Windows and the history of have with Windows and the history of have with Windows and the history of Windows like Windows is a closed Source Windows like Windows is a closed Source Windows like Windows is a closed Source operating system Microsoft has embraced operating system Microsoft has embraced operating system Microsoft has embraced open source in the last 10 years and open source in the last 10 years and open source in the last 10 years and we're kind of all in on open source but we're kind of all in on open source but we're kind of all in on open source but the the fact is that Bay Area startups the the fact is that Bay Area startups the the fact is that Bay Area startups tend to be a bunch of mac guys and gals tend to be a bunch of mac guys and gals tend to be a bunch of mac guys and gals yep it seems surprising to me though yep it seems surprising to me though yep it seems surprising to me though that like a billion Windows machines out that like a billion Windows machines out that like a billion Windows machines out there and like 50 plus million windows there and like 50 plus million windows there and like 50 plus million windows devs that is it just because you didn't devs that is it just because you didn't devs that is it just because you didn't have Windows expertise internally have Windows expertise internally have Windows expertise internally because like you you went to the Linux because like you you went to the Linux because like you you went to the Linux desktop both the people who used the desktop both the people who used the desktop both the people who used the Linux death toop got warp Linux death toop got warp Linux death toop got warp before I I remember this at uh at Google before I I remember this at uh at Google before I I remember this at uh at Google it was like there was a big debate about it was like there was a big debate about it was like there was a big debate about do we even support Chrome on Linux do we even support Chrome on Linux do we even support Chrome on Linux because everyone uh you know at Google because everyone uh you know at Google because everyone uh you know at Google we were doing a lot of development on we were doing a lot of development on we were doing a lot of development on Linux and like I think they had like Linux and like I think they had like Linux and like I think they had like 100,000 users on Chrome Linux which is 100,000 users on Chrome Linux which is 100,000 users on Chrome Linux which is like nothing right compared to the like nothing right compared to the like nothing right compared to the overall population of chrome um terminal overall population of chrome um terminal overall population of chrome um terminal I I guess the one thing I would say in I I guess the one thing I would say in I I guess the one thing I would say in favor of us like doing Linux a little favor of us like doing Linux a little favor of us like doing Linux a little bit earlier was like the terminal there bit earlier was like the terminal there bit earlier was like the terminal there tends to be a high Affinity between tends to be a high Affinity between tends to be a high Affinity between terminal users and um Linux users but to terminal users and um Linux users but to terminal users and um Linux users but to to your macro point I think if I had a

like Docker and kubernetes so it's a really wide range kubernetes so it's a really wide range kubernetes so it's a really wide range of things um and but if you if you go of things um and but if you
